Is there a gap between where you are and where you want to be? If so, something needs to happen to close that gap. A shift needs to take place, either in our thinking, our feeling, our speaking, or our behavior (or maybe in all of them!)
If pretending that everything is wonderful isn't working or if 'faking it' isn't working or even if 'acting as if' isn't working, maybe it's time to actually look at what isn't working and make a shift!
Ignoring our limiting thinking or our sabotaging behaviors will not make them disappear. We need awareness so we can make the shift we need to close the gap between where we are and where we want to be.
Yeah, it doesn't sound fun to me either. But hey, shift happens!
