In this video I take you on a little tour to see some of my oil paintings and cross stitch (how cool, huh?).
My point is that even though I am surrounded by physical proof that I am a talented and creative artist, I refuse to claim it. I simply don't see it or recognize it. Weird, huh? It is one of my blind spots.
What about you? What are your blind spots? What talents and skills do you deny when everyone else tells you how talented you are?
I don't know about you, but denying my abilities is just one way I get to stay small and play safe - and I didn't even realize it.
I'd love to hear your comments on what your blind spots are (now that you've taken off your blinders).
Janet works with women who struggle with putting everyone else first, settling, playing small, and not following their dreams. She helps them move beyond the negative voices in their head so they can unleash their purpose, unmask their brilliance, and uncover possibilities that they have been blind to.
