We get so attached to the excuses we tell ourselves (and others) as to why we’re not taking action to move us into our zone of brilliance on our way to living our badass life that we actually start to believe that our excuses are the truth, and not just words that keep us in our comfort zone.
Well, I’m not different. My ‘go-to’ excuse is that “I don’t have enough time.” I love it. It sounds logical and reasonable to my ears. And I can back it up with facts and data so no one can argue with me.
Luckily for me, I have a few people in my life that don’t let me get away with my excuses. They don’t want me to stay comfortable and safe; they want me to soar and explode into my brilliance (just like I want for you).
But thinking about doing even more seemed exhausting. I knew I needed balance, but my excuses kept getting in the way.
Until my road trip.
Time to unwind. Time away from technology. Time away from doing and accomplishing all the time. Time for self-reflection. Time for enjoyment. Time for hours and hours of just being in the moment.
I am now full of ‘Re’s’ – re-vitalized, re-engaged, re-invigorated, re-energized, re-connected, and re-committed.
You don’t need a road trip. Maybe you just need some time for yourself. Time for some pleasure and enjoyment, and yes, even time away from technology.

She helps them move beyond the negative voices in their head so they can unleash their purpose, unmask their brilliance, and uncover possibilities that they have been blind to.
